Dagny joined Portfolio in May 2002 after a three month sting as a backcountry ranger in Yosemite National Park. She currently works on special projects for Portfolio while completing her Master degree in Creative Writing at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Writers and Poets in Boulder. In her free time she likes to take solo hikes of up to nine days in the mountains, lie in the sun and frequent her local bar with her good friend Cassandra. She has also created a website to help educate people about the harmful effects of pesticides: alternative-lawncare.com.
